INFOhio purchased Gale’s Financial Literacy eBook collection for high school students with funding from Future Forward Ohio for all Ohio schools. With more than 50 full text, simultaneous and unlimited use eBooks this collection provides students and educators with support for teaching Ohio’s Learning Standards for Financial Literacy which includes topics of financial responsibility and decision-making, planning and money management, informed consumer, investing, credit and debt, and risk management and insurance. 

Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) is December 5-11, 2022 and is an annual event where educators, students, and caregivers can learn about and celebrate the fun and benefits of computer science. As Ohio's PreK-12 Digital Library, INFOhio is ready for a new school year providing quality resources to help support schools as they accelerate learning. The instructional materials from INFOhio are available at no cost to all students, teachers, and parents. INFOhio is actively seeking new members for the INFOhio Integration Partners, or IPartners, program to boost our reach, support our efforts, and strengthen our connections.

This summer INFOhio will be hosting a one-day conference, Instructional Materials Matter: Voices from the Field, on August 9, 2022. Sessions include a Keynote from the Ohio Department of Education and additional sessions from Exchange Certified Trainers on integrating quality INFOhio resources, web tools, and professional development into the various educational environments. 

Career-focused lessons and activities from the Ohio Department of Education Office of Graduate Success have been added to Open Space. 

Check out more than 250 new social studies lesson plans, interactive games, and learning modules from iCivics.org that have been added to Open Space.

The Computer Science Fundamentals curriculum from Code.org, which includes 97 lesson plans for grades K-5, has been added to Open Space.

More than 70 new instructional materials from Common Sense Education have been added to Open Space and include lesson plans on being responsible digital citizens for K-12.
