INFOhio's Research 4 Success (R4S) is an online learning course presented in six units to teach high school research skills. To increase the flexibility of the learning units in the classroom, INFOhio has added R4S to Open Space. The Research 4 Success website will be retired August 2024. Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, students and educators will access R4S lessons using Open Space. Learn more about locating and using R4S in Open Space.
To locate R4S in Open Space, begin at the information page. Click Research 4 Success: Research Skills Course.
The R4S course, including units and lessons, is accessible through Open Space. Educators do not need an Open Space account to access the course, units, or lessons. R4S is organized by unit. Each unit includes three lessons. Click on the title of the unit or lesson to see the Instructor View.
The instructor view is for educators and provides access to suggestions for using the instructional materials in R4S with students.
Educators can open the student view of a unit or lesson. Click Student View in the top right corner to generate a shareable link to a student view of the unit or lesson. Use the shareable link in any learning management system. Educators can use the Google Classroom button to add the student view of the unit or lesson to their Google Classroom.
Pictured below is the Student View. The Student View allows the student to navigate through each page of the lesson, similar to navigating an eBook.

She has earned a BA in English, an MS in Education: Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, and is a Google Certified Educator Level 2.
