INFOhio has revised and updated the Building Your Digital Curriculum with INFOhio OER Learning Pathway. It has transitioned to High-Quality Instructional Materials for Each Child Learning Pathway and has a new class called High-Quailty Instructional Materials to Supplement Your Curriculum.
In this class, learn more about what makes instructional materials high-quality, including those labeled Open Educational Resources (OER). Participants will learn why instructional materials matter and where to find high-quality instructional materials to supplement curricula. The class includes a focus on curriculum literacy and the use of the Ohio Curriculum Support Guide. Earn a certificate for 5 contact hours after successfully completing the final quiz.
The High-Quality Instructional Materials for Each Child Learning Pathway focuses on student learning and success through quality, grade-level, standards-aligned instructional materials. The entire pathway can be completed to earn up to 20 contact hours or classes can also be completed individually. Currently, this pathway includes seven classes, the newly added High-Quality Instructional Materials to Supplement Your Curriculum class, and six additional classes:

Sarah Mowery is a Professional Instructional Specialist with INFOhio. She has worked in education for 16 years as a school librarian and technology coach in elementary and middle school settings. While in these roles, she's been an integral part of the building leadership teams working as a curriculum connector and integrating web-based tools. She earned a BA in Sociology from Bowling Green State University and an MLS with a specialization in PK-12 schools from East Carolina University. Sarah was one of the original INFOhio ICoaches when the program first began in 2013 and has a passion for sharing how INFOhio resources can transform teaching and impact learning for students and educators across the state of Ohio.
