Highlights Videos to Support Early Literacy

New storybook videos from Highlights have been purchased to help support early literacy. Browse the 250 videos for engaging, less than two-minute stories with words on the screen for students to follow. 

Find rhyming texts, texts that support early math skills, and seasonal texts to encourage students to make connections with the world around them. 


Each video includes the text of the animated story at the bottom. Words are highlighted when they are read aloud. 


Go to Educator Tools to find all of these newly purchased videos. To browse all Highlights videos, filter your search by Source: Highlights Library and Item Type: Video. Also, try a keyword search if you are looking for a specific topic.

Sarah Mowery is a Professional Instructional Specialist with INFOhio. She has worked in education for 16 years as a school librarian and technology coach in elementary and middle school settings.
