GoLearn gives Ohio PreK-12 schools, ESCs, and universities the ability to offer open seats in their courses to students from PreK-12 schools and districts across the state via remote live instruction.

Beginning November 25, 2024, up to 10 Ohio universities may apply for GoLearn course provider membership for the 2024-2025 school year so that they can offer seats in College Credit Plus courses to students in Ohio PreK-12 schools. University content provider membership for GoLearn is $50 for the 2024-2025 school year.

All courses posted to GoLearn must be taught via remote live instruction—i.e., synchronously and virtually so that students across the state have an opportunity to engage with the instructor and other students in real time.

Member universities may list an unlimited number of courses for the 2024-2025 school year and may set their own costs for the seats they offer. Member universities should designate a single point of contact who will serve as the GoLearn administrator for that university. The university GoLearn administrator will receive an account with credentials to post courses and accept registrations. The university GoLearn administrator will serve as the contact for districts wishing to purchase seats in College Credit Plus courses. The university GoLearn administrator will be responsible for reporting data back to the district through the GoLearn platform upon course completion.

Ohio universities that wish to request course provider membership should complete the GoLearn Account Request Form. You will be asked to verify that you are the designated representative from your institution who should have access to GoLearn and you will receive a memorandum of understanding that includes member benefits and responsibilities.

Please note the following:

  • Districts registering students for courses schould use the contact info provided in the GoLearn listing to determine costs and payment procedures.
  • Agencies, districts, and universities offering course seats must include contact info for costs and payment procedures in the course descriptions.
  • GoLearn requires Multi-Factor Authentication to ensure data privacy and security.

If you are an administrator in an Ohio PreK-12 district or ESC who would like a GoLearn account, please use the GoLearn Account Request Form. You will be asked to verify that you are the designated representative from your agency or district who should have access to GoLearn. There is no membership cost for Ohio PreK-12 districts and ESCs to serve as GoLearn course providers.
