EBSCOhost Multi-Database Search Transitioning to New Interface

Author // Sarah Mowery Tuesday, 19 December 2023

EBSCOhost Multi-Database Search will be transitioning to a new interface in June.

To find the EBSCOhost Multi-Database Search go to the Educators Resources & Tools page on the INFOhio website. From the INFOhio homepage, click the Educators button and find the resource tile.

Currently, the default homepage for EBSCOhost Multi-Database Search provides an alphabetical list of all of the research databases available. Below the title of each database includes a detailed description of what is included within each database. Users can check the Select / deselect all box to search all databases or users can check specific databases they want to search within.

Once the databases are selected the current version of EBSCOhost Multi-Database Search brings you to a general search screen. To filter results users can click Search Options or click Advanced Search.

The new EBSCOhost Multi-Database Search homepage will display this general search screen. Above the search bar, it shows Searching: All databases.

If the user clicks on All databases, a list of databases that they can check to include or uncheck to exclude from their search will display.

Some of the filters below the search bar include Full text, and the All time drop-down menu allows users to limit their results to more current publications. Advanced Search is also an option.
