Social media provides new avenues for educators and students to find and share their favorite books. As book trailers have declined, INFOhio has decided to close the Submit a Trailer page, effective Monday, June 2, 2025. Book trailers submitted before June 2, 2025, will be reviewed and considered for publication.
The book trailer collection is more than 10 years old. To draw greater attention to newly published trailers, INFOhio will unpublish book trailers published before January 1, 2018. INFOhio will begin the process of weeding book trailers on June 2, 2025. Please visit Teach with INFOhio for updates.
In 2023, INFOhio updated the Book Nook website. Librarians and educators can find Book Nook on the Educators page. The homepage categorizes student-created book trailers by estimated grade level based on publishing industry book reviews. Educators can determine the best grade level for their student audience. Remaining book trailers will continue to be available using the grade band collections on the Book Nook site.
Book trailers will still be available in the Fetch and ISearch library catalogs. For schools that automate with INFOhio, your library catalog uses the ISBN number to automatically attach book trailers to the record for the matching title in your catalog.
