Sharing World Book Early Learning with Parents

Learning Objectives
  • Consider methods for sharing World Book Early Learning with parents.

Using World Book Early Learning at Home

Using World Book Early Learning and other digital text at home is a best practice as well as a great way to keep kids engaged in reading. Consider using these resources to help parents learn more about World Book Early Learning and to maximize student reading wherever and whenever!

Little Printable Books

Each time you use an eBook from Stories in the classroom, send students home with the accompanying little printable book. Provide information for parents on how to access World Book Early Learning and the eBooks. Give suggestions on how parents can interact with their children while reading both the print and the digital version of the story.

Reading 'Round the Clock

The Reading 'Round the Clock series offers parents helpful tips and approaches to reading with their children anywhere. These videos and flyers were created by the Ohio Parent Teacher Association, the State Library of Ohio, Ohio Educational Library Media Association, and INFOhio. Share these with your parents at a curriculum night, open house, or conference. Find all of these items and more on INFOhio's Beginning Readers page:
