• Understand the MARC record specifications for vendors.

Are you ordering items from vendors like JLG, Mackin, Scholastic, or Follett (just to name a few)? If so, you may be able to have the vendor do the cataloging for you. Depending on the vendor, item processing may be free or added to the order for an additional fee. This can include assigning call numbers and barcodes, adding genres, reading program information, and more!

Before placing an order:

2. Contact your INFOhio Provider to assist you in filling out this form.
3. Verify with your Provider the information you plan to submit to the vendor. Incorrect barcode ranges can create big headaches!
