This lesson plan was developed by members of INFOhio's Early Literacy Task Force. It uses World Book Kids from INFOhio to help students define physical fitness, identify ways a person can stay fit, and make text-to-self connections between the article and their own lives. It is aligned to Ohio's Learning Standards for English Language Arts and includes best practices for reading digital text. Updated June 2023.
