Lisa Wendt has been named the 2024 Spence White Service Award recipient. She was recognized at the virtual Management Council Membership Meeting on May 2, 2025.

Lisa is being recognized for her 25 years of exemplary service to the INFOhio project and users. Users and colleagues who provided messages of support for Lisa as the recipient of the award included Lori Poleway, Thomas Worthington Library Media Specialist; Shawna Wise, Greenville City Schools Administrative Computer Technician; Jeff Culwell, META Solutions; Carol VanSickle, META Solutions Fiscal Support Specialist; Colleen Kochensparger, Slate Hill Elementary School Media Specialist; and Mary Dumas, Admiral King Elementary School Secretary.
Her users and colleagues described Lisa as their “trainer, partner, and advocate,” “super helpful… patient and thorough,” and “more than a support contact; she was a true friend.” One shared, “She always had the [school librarians’] best interests at heart!”
