Open Space is Ohio's premier OER creation and collaboration space for Ohio's PreK-12 educators. In Open Space, Ohio’s PreK-12 educators collaborate, build, and share open education resources and best practices in implementation to address student learning needs.
Licensed and supported by INFOhio, Open Space was built on the OER Commons infrastructure and features all the authoring and collaboration tools found on OER Commons, ISKME's digital library and collaboration platform. While hosted and indexed on the OER Commons platform, Open Space has been designed to meet the unique needs of Ohio's PreK-12 educators.
Requirements for Publishing to Open Space
All Ohio PreK-12 educators are welcome in Open Space! Before joining Open Space, please read these Open Space procedures:
INFOhio developed Open Space to provide Ohio's PreK-12 educators with a platform to collaborate, create, and share high-quality teaching and learning resources. All submissions to Open Space must meet the Open Space Minimum Requirements for quality and accessibility. Please read the rubric before submitting content for publication in Open Space. You may find it helpful to use the Open Space Submission Form to track your submission progress.

Open Space Content Providers
Ohio educational agencies can partner with INFOhio to contribute their content to Open Space, making it easier for Ohio educators to find and use that content. If you have multiple content items to contribute, please reach out to us at support.infohio.org or email@example.com and let us know you are interested in establishing your organization as an Open Space Content Provider. A member of the INFOhio team will contact you to discuss branding your content, creating Content Provider Sets, bulk uploading of content, and free training.
Training for Open Space Content Providers can be found below in the Training and Support section. Two training sessions, Open Space Content Providers Session 1 and Open Space Content Providers Session 2, are available. Session 1 is a prerequisite to session 2.
If you are interested in contributing content to Open Space and would like to learn more, contact support.infohio.org.
