Print and Digital Learning Suggestions for Teachers:

Webquests

  1. Explore the the World Book Kids webquests in Educator Tools and choose the webquests you want to use.
  2. Print the webquests, making sure to remove the answer key, and copy and distribute the webquests.
  3. Each webquest has accompanying World Book Student articles that students will need to read to answer the webquest questions.
    1. For students who do not have Internet access, print the related articles and distribute them.
    2. Point students who do have Internet access to this World Book Student page and direct them to click the green Open button. Students can search for the related articles in World Book Student to answer the webquest questions.

Activities

  1. From the World Book Kids homepage, click the Activities button in the menu at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Click the For Grownups button and browse the lesson plans. 
  3. Choose the lesson plan you want to use and print (using the Tools feature) any of the documents, articles, or directions for that activity or save them to your learning management system.
