Bringing together her experience working in school, public, and special libraries, Stephanie now works in an academic setting where preservice teachers seek outstanding children's literature to use in their lesson plans. She reads hundreds of books each year to prepare/present three signature programs at Wright State: Mock Caldecott, Mock Newbery, and Picture Book Extravaganza! She currently reviews books for SLC and SOYAMRG, also reviewing children's music and films for SLJ. This summer, she finishes as Co-Chair of ALSC's Quicklists Committee and was a member of the 2015 Newbery Medal Committee.
