Rob Snyder is the First Year Experience Coordinator at Bowling Green State University’s Jerome Library. He earned his M.L.I.S. from San Jose State University and a B.A. in English from Baldwin-Wallace College. As the First Year Experience Coordinator, Rob works with programs campus-wide that are related to first year initiatives, and acts as library liaison and resource for instructors and students involved with first year programs and students in transition. He also serves as the library liaison to the Department of Higher Education and Student Affairs, the School of Educational Foundations, Leadership and Policy, and the General Studies Writing program. Rob’s research interests include the role of the academic library in first year initiatives, and the application of emerging technologies to classroom instruction.
