For almost 20 years, Les has consulted schools and districts in various states in the area of educational technology.  Whether working with a classroom teacher, district superintendent, or state level staff, Les works to identify the goals of an initiative and determine the most effective solution and plan of implementation to maximize instructional impact and effectiveness.
 
Though Les has experience working with literally hundreds of publishers, his focus now with Learning.com is to help schools address their instructional needs in digital literacy, including online safety. Helping students become college and career ready begins in the primary grades, and equitable instruction for all students with varying levels of access and exposure to technology is a challenge for schools. Now with PARCC assessments coming, students lacking these capabilities will struggle to perform well in the new testing environment.
 
Les worked with Lorrie Germann and the eTech Ohio staff to roll out the EasyTech Online Safety materials statewide in 2012-13. In his work with Learning.com, Les is helping Ohio educators again this year understand how to prepare students in the areas of digital citizenship.
