Learning Objectives
  • Find World Book Student and World Book Advanced on the INFOhio website: www.infohio.org.
  • Use the navigational tools to search and browse content to find the best content for students and instruction. 
  • Locate instructional supports within the resource.

 

Exploring a Topic
  1. Think about the topic or focus for an upcoming lesson or unit you are planning.
  2. Using what you have learned, find World Book Student or World Book Advanced on the INFOhio Website. Select the World Book product that best meets the needs of your students. 
  3. Search for a topic, select and read an article on the topic, view the additional content (pictures, videos, and more), and practice using any of the following Tools and Settings for this article that you think would support student learning:
    • View
    • Save 
    • Share
    • Print
    • Citations
    • Translate this text
    • Text Size
    • Dictionary 
  4. Explore what is available under the Related Information tab or link.
  5. Use the Educator Tools to find a graphic organizer, teaching with documents ideas, or webquest to support the topic you selected.

 

 

 

Reflecting on Your Learning

In the Discussions Tab of the World Book Resources Open Space group, share the resource that you found. Post your response, identifying how you will use it in instruction in the Instructional Materials from the World Book Resources question. Reply to the thread and review and reply to other participants' responses.
