World Book Kids at Home

INFOhio provides quality digital content for all Ohio students, teachers and families at no cost. Help parents learn more about INFOhio, its resources, and website. Share this video in an email or newsletter to let parents know about the resources and tools available for use at home.

Using World Book Kids and other digital text at home is a best practice as well as a great way to keep kids engaged in reading. Encourage your students to engage their families with the World Book Kids Research Skills webquest. Download the World Book Kids Research Skills Webquest from the exercise files at the bottom of this page, or find it in the For Educators section of the resource under Webquests.

Kids can practice using the interface and parents can encourage their effort as well as learn more about what World Book Kids has to offer for home use. Don't forget to remind kids that even at home, they will not need to enter a username or password to use World Book Kids. Direct them to go to www.infohio.org to access the resources so that they are logged in automatically.
