Reflecting on Your Learning

Now that you have learned more about World Book Early Learning and how to use it in your classroom, answer the following questions:

  1. What part of the class and its activities was most helpful in your understanding of the topic? Why?
  2. What part of the class could be better? What would you do to improve it? Why?
  3. What was the most important thing you learned from this class? What makes it important to you? This question can be answered in the World Book Resources Open Space group Discussions. Find the What Did You Learn from the World Book Class? reflection question. Reply to the thread and review other participants' responses.

 

 

Extend the Learning

Now that you have completed the training, make sure the learning doesn't stop. Once you have taught the lesson you created featuring World Book Early Learning, make sure to evaluate it. Consider these questions:

  1. What worked/didn't work? How will you replicate the success or correct the problem the next time you use World Book Early Learning?
  2. Which materials you learned about in the training will you use the most to integrate World Book Early Learning in your teaching?
  3. What did you discover about your teaching or delivery style from using World Book Early Learning in your lessons?
  4. What are two pieces of advice you would give to a fellow teacher who wants to integrate World Book Early Learning or other digital resources into the classroom?
