Exploring a Topic

Now that you have learned about how to access The World Almanac for Kids Elementary, search and browse for topics, and find standards-aligned content, practice your skills by completing the following exercise. 

  1. Think about a topic or focus for an upcoming lesson or unit you are planning.
  2. Find The World Almanac for Kids Elementary on the INFOhio website.
  3. Search for a topic by standard or search and browse, select and read an article on the topic, and view additional content such as fun facts and videos.
  4. Use the Teacher Resources to find a graphic organizer, printable handout, or science diagram to support the topic you selected.
