INFOhio Campus

INFOhio Campus provides flexible, personalized training and development options to support the use and integration of INFOhio's digital content and web tools. Here you will find links to the Learning Pathways, Advance With INFOhio, Learn With INFOhio, and more. Learning Pathways

Learning Pathways are located within INFOhio Campus and provide options for self-paced or trainer led professional development with the opportunity to earn contact hours. Each pathway is made of classes targeting a specific educational topic or group with specific technical and instructional training related to the digital content and web tools INFOhio provides. Classes within each pathway can be viewed at any time, completed in any order, and offer the flexibility of increasing your professional knowledge collectively within the class or as resource to visit when a question arises. The About section contains information about the classes, a syllabus, and trainer guides for each class. Trainer materials for each class can be used to guide your own professional development. Digital badging is available for those who complete the entire pathway.

Using Learning Pathway Classes for Training 

Educators can use content from the classes in presentations or other types of training and development. A trainer guide for each class provides activities to engage adult learners.

Find the trainer guide for each Learning Pathway class in the Exercise Files tab. It is also located in the Your Assignment lesson or Welcome to the Class lesson in each class. 

Presentations and trainings on INFOhio's digital resources and tools don't have to be created from the ground up. INFOhio Learning Pathway classes can be used to develop a presentation, complete with slides and learning activities. Using the class content and Trainer Guide, ICoaches can build professional development and training for specific audiences quickly and efficiently. 

This helpful  Planning Template will support you as you create your training or PD for adult learners. Click File, Make a copy to begin. The template is a workspace and planning tool, guiding you through steps to help you create the best PD for your audience. 

Be sure to look closely at these two charts in the template. They are designed to support you as you decide what content from the class you will include. The charts also encourage you to choose training acitivites from the trainer guide for application and relfection of learning. 

Content and images from INFOhio Learning Pathways can be copied and pasted directly onto slides for a presentation.

Right click on an image and choose Copy image to use it in a presentation. 

This slideset is an example of a presentation created using the INFOhio Learning Pathway BookFlix class. Notice that the notes are text from the class, while the slides use images from the class with some additional text. To use it, choose File and Make a copy.

Advance With INFOhio

INFOhio's face-to-face training and professional development option is cost-effective and can be personalized to meet the needs of schools, districts, and educational agencies. Learn more about this option at https://www.infohio.org/pd-training-options.

Learn with INFOhio

Live and recorded webinars can be found on the Learn With INFOhio page. 

Each recorded webinar is available for a half or one contact hour after successfully taking a quiz covering the content of the webinar. The most recent webinars are shown at the top. Use the search feature at the top of the page to find archived webinars on topics of interest too!

Ohio Approved Professional Development with INFOhio

Several classes from the Ages 3-5 Digital Content Pathway are available for Ohio Approved Professional Development through OCCRRA's Ohio Professional Registry. This page provides answers to frequently asked questions about the online classes for early learning educators and links to the asynchronous classes. ICoach Program

The ICoach (Integration Coach) program is designed to train building and district staff through a 15 hour course that provides comprehensive knowledge of INFOhio's resources. Once trained, ICoaches in turn train others to use and integrate INFOhio digital content and instructional web tools in the classroom setting. ICoaches recertify annually and provide at least one training per year using an INFOhio resource. On the ICoach page you will find the ICoach map to locate INFOhio experts in the surrounding community.
