Reflecting on Your Learning

Now that you have learned more about high-quality instructional materials, answer the following questions in the High-Quality Instructional Materials to Supplement Your Curriculum Open Space group. Find the What Did You Learn from the HQIM Class? reflection question.

  1. What part of the class and its activities was most helpful in your understanding of the topic? Why?
  2. What part of the class could be better? What would you do to improve it? Why?
  3. What was the most important thing you learned from this class? What makes it important to you?

Extend the Learning

Now that you have completed the training, make sure the learning doesn't stop. Having implemented what you learned about high-quality instructional materials, consider these questions:

  1. What worked and didn't work? How will you replicate the success or correct the problem?
  2. Which resources you learned about in the training will you use the most?
  3. What did you discover about your teaching or delivery style from implementing high-quality instructional materials in teaching and learning?
  4. What are two pieces of advice you would give to a fellow teacher who wants to implement high-quality instructional materials in teaching and learning?
