Using Explora for Grades PreK-5 and other digital text at home is a best practice as well as a great way to keep kids engaged in reading. Extend the learning and send home links or copies of articles that will engage and interest families. Use this lesson plan on Butterflies and Camouflage from EBSCO and ask families to read and discuss the articles under "Materials" at home. Provide a graphic organizer that will help students and their families find the information they need to come back to class and participate in the activity explained in the lesson plan.
