This Teacher Guide for the Map It Out HyperDoc Lesson Plan includes standards, teacher tips, previous knowledge and more. The lesson, which integrates best practices for reading digital text, and supports the Social Studies, Technology, and ELA Reading Informational Text standards, uses the HyperDoc format. HyperDocs are interactive Google Docs that foster student creativity and collaboration in a blended learning environment. They are designed to help students make the most of inquiry-based learning.
