Classroom Integration Ideas

(ES): Young students can begin using a scroll bar in Early World Of Learning.  Each of the stories in Trek’s travels and Welcome to Reading is in a list.   Project Early World of Learning on a screen.  Then, the teacher can give students a title, and they must scroll to find it.  For fun, make teams and time them for a winning team.

(MS, HS): Go to INFOhio, www.infohio.org, and choose in the appropriate grade level or in the All Resources area. Select Science Online and then direct students to choose one of the Featured Videos and Animations.  Demonstrate to students how they can use the scroll within a scroll to follow the written transcript for the video.   Have students practice using this feature.
