All of us at INFOhio are proud to announce that our Executive Director, Theresa M. Fredericka, has been named a School Library Ambassador by the American Association of School Librarians (AASL). To celebrate the 30th anniversary of School Library Month, AASL is highlighting people (other than school librarians) who are leading advocates for family literacy and the role that school libraries/school librarians play in supporting lifelong learning. Congratulations, Terri! The honor is well deserved!
The INFOhio Tech Skills for Online Testing Pearltree brings you the best INFOhio tools and online sites to prepare students with the keyboarding and mousing skills needed to manage an online test. Some districts, however, block those sites because they are social media or blogs or other kind of site that can deliver inappropriate content to students. To help, INFOhio maintains a whitelist of all sites linked from the Pearltree that a school's technical support can use to permanently unblock them for easy access.
The Google Doc with the always-current whitelist is linked from the INFOhio Educator Tools in the Technical Help section.
