Have No Fear—INFOhio is Here!
With special thanks to the Ohio Department of Education and the Libraries Connect Ohio partnership, INFOhio is able to continue delivering essential digital resources to all Ohio PreK-12 schools ensuring equity of access for all students once again. INFOhio will continue to provide favorite resources teachers rely on accessed directly from INFOhio’s website:
- Digital Video Collection
- Science Online
- Storia for 4th grade, soon to be expanded to include 5th grade, bringing the Storia collection to over 300 titles!
But don’t forget!
Remember that new resources from the Libraries Connect Ohio collection will be added to INFOhio’s website. Beginning July 2018, schools can take advantage of even more high-quality digital resources through INFOhio. Descriptions of each new resource have been added to the All Resources page so that teachers can begin planning a year full of great content for 2018-2019.
Get a sneak peek!
INFOhio is offering an inside look of the new and returning resources during INFOhio’s week of Sneak Peek Webinars May 17-24! During each Sneak Peek, participants will get a general overview of the resource, preview the interfaces, and learn about the features so that they can begin thinking about how to use them in the classroom next school year. Register for one, two, or all of these free webinars!
Look to your public library!
Beginning July 1, access to Ancestry Library Edition will no longer be available through the Libraries Connect Ohio collection, by school IP address, or through the INFOhio website. The Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN) plans to purchase genealogy resources exclusively for public libraries. Watch for upcoming announcements about the genealogy resources available at your public library.
