New Topics and Content Areas Added to IWonder
IWonder launched last spring and has quickly become one of INFOhio's most popular tools for students in grades 3-9. IWonder is a collection of websites, chosen by Ohio school librarians, for students to use for classroom or personal research. This school year some of the most popular IWonder questions have been:
- Do you want to learn more about the world around you?
- Do you have a math problem to solve?
- Do you know what you want to be when you grow up?
New content areas were recently added to Do you want to learn more about people, places and things in history? including Early Civilizations, The Middle Ages, and U.S. History. A collection of sites about Cells were added to Do you want to learn more about the world around you? Students will now find more about Books and Reading in IWonder. And by popular request, a whole new topic has been added: Do you want to learn more about technology? Digging into that question, students can learn more about Coding, Robotics, and Making.
Want to structure your student's time in IWonder? The IWonder Genius Hour Teacher's Guide and Worksheets are available on the IWonder information page and work with any of the topic and content areas your students want to explore.
