Boot Camp 2014 Session 7: Flip your Library
Library orientations are usually brief, so we need to maximize the time we spend with students and focus on what really matters. Using an animated video created with GoAnimate and a learning management system, the Lakeside School librarians flipped their orientation to focus on the information search process and cultivating a “just ask” library culture. Heather will share why and how they made the flip, in addition to other ways Lakeside is using the flipped model and how the flipped model is resulting in more student interaction. She will share a LibGuide of presentation resources.
