Cathie Cooper

Cathie Cooper is an eLearning Specialist with INFOhio, working on curriculum and resources for teachers and librarians.   She was a library media specialist for 34 years at Adena Local Schools in southern Ohio working with students in grades K-12.  She was also technology coordinator for seven years and started her career in the public library.  She has a MLS from Kent State University and a BS in Education.

Emily Rozmus

Emily Rozmus has been an Integration Librarian for INFOhio since December 2013. Before this, she was the district librarian and high school English teacher for Mechanicsburg Exempted Village Schools. In her 20 years there, she worked on teams to implement curriculum, develop district growth plans, integrate technology, create instruction for information literacy, and foster teacher development. At INFOhio, she focuses on helping educators use INFOhio resources to improve early literacy. Her work has resulted in instructional "bags" for Ohio teachers, early literacy webinars, partnerships with like-minded agencies, and numerous statewide presentations to teachers, administrators, and educational leaders in Ohio. In her free time, she reads, enjoys time with her husband and three teenaged children, and plans for her next big adventure in life.

Gayle Geitgey

Gayle Geitgey is an Instructional Integration Specialist for INFOhio.  She has experience as a high school librarian, district technology director and as an online adjunct instructor. At INFOhio, Gayle works with the ICoach and District/Building ICoach program, directs INFOhio’s instructional integration initiatives, and works regionally with INFOhio schools in south and central Ohio.

Jennifer Schwelik

Jennifer Schwelik is an eLearning Specialist for INFOhio. She previously served as a school librarian for Beachwood City Schools and Bay Village Schools. She has also served an American Memory Fellow with the Library of Congress,  the project manager for Kent State’s TRAILS (Tool for Real-Time Assessment of Information Literacy Skills) and as an adjunct professor with Kent State University School of Library and Information Science.

Melissa Higgs-Horwell

Melissa Higgs-Horwell, INFOhio Instructional Team Specialist, is a school librarian, technology coordinator and distance learning coordinator. She was the system administrator of the SCOCA ITC Blackboard Consortium, providing professional development and support and also the coordinator of video conferencing for a large consortium.  Melissa has worked at INFOhio for 7 years.  One of her passions is presenting on the integration of INFOhio resources and tools into the curriculum to improve student learning.
