Updates to INFOhio ICoach Programs

Author // Erica Clay Monday, 12 August 2019

The former District/Building ICoach program and Regional ICoach program have been updated, expanded, and reimagined to allow for greater flexibility and growth.

The former INFOhio District/Building ICoach program is now the INFOhio ICoach program and those who successfully complete the training will be certified as INFOhio ICoaches.

The former INFOhio Regional ICoach program has been decommissioned. INFOhio has launched the INFOhio IPartner program to take its place. Those who successfully complete the training will be certified as INFOhio IPartners.

Which program is right for you? The INFOhio ICoach program is for outstanding PreK-12 educators who are interested in learning how to integrate INFOhio's digital content and web tools into instruction and sharing their knowledge with other Ohio educators. The INFOhio IPartner program is for staff in Ohio education agencies—ESCs, ITCs, Ed Techs, universities, public or academic libraries, and more—who are interested in learning and sharing about INFOhio’s digital content and web tools and how to integrate them into PreK-12 instruction. View the program pages to learn more about both programs.

Benefits of both programs include:

  • Certification as an authorized INFOhio trainer after completion of required training that can be used to demonstrate professional learning growth.
  • First notification about INFOhio tools and resources updates.
  • Connection to the online learning community of INFOhio trainers to share ideas and training resources.

Participants in both programs learn how to integrate INFOhio's digital content and web tools into PreK-12 instruction through online self-paced training, and then share their knowledge with other Ohio educators through presentations, trainings, or other outreach methods.
