Open Space on INFOhio

Author // Sarah Mowery Wednesday, 19 May 2021

Open Space is Ohio's premier OER creation and collaboration space for Ohio's PreK-12 educators. In Open Space, Ohio’s PreK-12 educators collaborate, build, and share open education resources and best practices in implementation to address student learning needs.

Information and access to Open Space, powered by INFOhio, has been streamlined on INFOhio's website to make it easier for users to navigate and find the information that is needed. Open Space can now be found in two locations on the INFOhio homepage, www.infohio.org.

On the main menu, the Open Space button will take you to the Open Space homepage where users can:

  • Sign up for an Open Space account
  • Find, create, and share open educational resources (OER) and instructional materials
  • Join groups and collaborate with other educators

Scrolling down to the bottom of the INFOhio homepage, Open Space can also be found in the Tools & Resources Menu. This button will take you to the Open Space information page, which provides users with:

  • Training and Support resources
  • Requirements for Publishing Content
  • Information about the Open Space Advisory Council and Content Providers
