Instructional materials that support and enrich remote, hybrid, and blended learning for students across Ohio have been added to the RemotEDx Hub in Open Space. The materials have been curated into collections based on grade level and subject area.

Contents of the RemotEDx Hub have been carefully reviewed by RemotEDx Instructional Materials Reviewers who are education professionals working in Ohio's Educational Service Centers, Ed Techs, ITCs, and schools. As materials are submitted to Open Space, the RemotEDx Instructional Materials Reviewers evaluate the materials using the RemotEDx Instructional Materials Rubric. Materials that meet the requirements of the RemotEDx Instructional Materials Rubric carry a RemotEDx Endorsement.
RemotEDx Instructional Materials Reviewers use a rubric that focuses on usability, flexibility and adaptability, culturally responsive teaching, and research-based strategies. All RemotEDx Reviews are available in a database that you can search or browse.

In addition to being available through the RemotEDx Hub, all materials endorsed by RemotEDx Instructional Materials Reviewers are available from a curated collection in Open Space that you can search and filter by standard, subject, education level, material type, and more.

Open Space, a curriculum creation and collaboration tool, powered by INFOhio, empowers educators to create and share resources that promote innovative and collaborative learning. In addition to finding quality instructional materials, Open Space users can view and rate resources and also share content to Google Classroom. Open Space users can create and join groups to share resources and discuss problems of practice with peers.

Sarah Mowery is a Professional Instructional Specialist with INFOhio. She has worked in education for 16 years as a school librarian and technology coach in elementary and middle school settings. While in these roles, she's been an integral part of the building leadership teams working as a curriculum connector and integrating web-based tools. She earned a BA in Sociology from Bowling Green State University and an MLS with a specialization in PK-12 schools from East Carolina University. Sarah was one of the original INFOhio ICoaches when the program first began in 2013 and has a passion for sharing how INFOhio resources can transform teaching and impact learning for students and educators across the state of Ohio.
