Five Books to Share this Winter From Scholastic's BookFlix

Author // Emily Rozmus Friday, 18 March 2016

Spend your snowy days this season with a great book.  Cuddle up with your favorite reader - young or old - and share a story that will warm up even the chilliest of days. BookFlix is freely available to Ohio's PreK-3 students through INFOhio.

1.  Ezra Jack Keat’s The Snowy Day is a classic read. Everyone who loves to play in the snow - adult or child -  will smile at Peter’s familiar antics.

2. Ruth Sanderson’s illustration in Clement Moore’s The Night Before Christmas will create memories for any readers, young or old.

3. OR enjoy In the Month of Kislev by Nina Jaffe and spin the dreidel and eat latkes on Hanukkah’s 8 frosty nights.

4. Sing and dance like a penguin while reading Antarctic Antics by Judy Sierra!

5. Learn about the man who took pictures of snow while watching the flakes fall. Read Snowflake Bentley by Jacqueline Briggs Martin.
