Author // Sarah Mowery Friday, 11 September 2020

Early Learning Basics, a new feature in World Book Early Learning, one of INFOhio's licensed digital resources, was recently added to help support learning of essential skills for PreK-Kindergarten students. Letter and number recognition and early math concepts such as counting and classification are included.

The Early Learning Basics addition includes four sections:

  • Fun with Words - practice basic literacy skills such as letter recognition, sight words, and tracing
  • Count and Play - reinforce early math concepts such as counting and classification with stories and games
  • Once Upon a Time - listen to fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and songs
  • Welcome to Reading - read all of the Trek books, organized by Lexile level, sequentially

To learn more take the World Book Early Learning class available in our Ages 3-5 Digital Content Learning Pathway and K-5 Digital Content Learning Pathway and learn how to integrate this resource into your curriculum.

We are always happy to help! If you have questions about any of our tools or digital content, please contact support.infohio.org.
