Product Update for EBSCOhost August 12, 2009 EBSCO Animals improvements INFOhio relays this abridged message from EBSCO Publishing. Formerly, EBSCO Animals was a stand-alone database. It is now part of these product families: Middle Search Plus and Primary Search and is accessible via the EBSCOhost, Searchasaurus, or Kids Search interface. Articles within the Encyclopedia of Animals can now be found more easily through improved citations with added subject headings and an abstract. In addition, each article includes a Lexile value. New images and maps have been included into the Related Item section of the full text.
With
these changes, EBSCO
Animals will no longer be available as a stand alone database
starting September 1. INFOhio's EBSCO Animals buttons and links will no longer lead to the separate product.
All references to EBSCO Animals will be removed from the INFOhio
Web site by January 2010., |
