Mango Languages
Mango Languages
provides self-directed language
instruction focusing on everyday conversational skills and cultural
awareness. The languages covered are Arabic (Levantine), Chinese
(Cantonese), Chinese (Mandarin), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dari, Dutch,
Farsi, Finish, French, German, Greek, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Hindi,
Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Pashto,
Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Slovak, Spanish (Latin American), Tagalog, Tami, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu and Vietnamese. In
addition, there are 15 English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) packages to
help various foreign language speakers learn English.
Access Mango Languages at
school and at home. All Ohio K-12 students and their parents, as well as K-12
educators, can use the state-funded INFOhio Electronic Resources free-of-charge. Home
access requires a username and password available from your school's library media center,
technology coordinator or Information
Technology Center (ITC) Staff Provider.
