INFOhio's 2010-2011 webinar series,
Learn With INFOhio!,
kicks off with two September topics, What's New With INFOhio on
September 7 and An Introduction to INFOhio's 21st Century Learning
Commons on September 16. Webinar sessions are 45 minutes and are
free for Ohio educators. The webinars page is linked from
Professional Development Opportunities
and includes more information on each session, a
Connect™ Pro
webinar link and session resources used by the presenter.
When session recordings are available, they will be linked from the same
page. Most months will have two webinars, and most sessions are

Context, Focus and Quality in the Library Discovery Experience
is a free webinar recently added to
Professional Development Opportunities.
The panel discussion includes INFOhio Executive Director Theresa M.
Fredericka and is sponsored by SirsiDynix and Library Journal.
Also on the panel are Wyoming State Librarian Lesley Boughton and
Cheptoo Kositany-Buckner, Executive Director of the Kansas City (MO)
Public Library. Panalists "will discuss the strategy, technology,
local content, and best practices they are developing to deliver a

The INFOhio DIALOGUE Model
for 21st Century Skills has been revised
to reflect evolving standards for 21st century learning and
teaching. Each letter of DIALOGUE represents a component in
the research process. For example D for
Discover / Develop an Overview, and I
for Investigate. Consider using DIALOGUE in
your efforts to develop student's 21st century skills. Revised

part of our Document Library, now has a set of CAT Jr.
graphics that match the new version of INFOhio's online catalog for
younger users. Ohio educators are welcome to use the images in their
