SirsiDynix Migration
Implementation Timeline

June 12, 2006

The migration of INFOhio Information Technology Centers (ITCs) will occur as a series of waves through March 2007. The timeline is subject to change.

1st wave - Fall 2003
Prototype sites live.

2nd wave - Winter 2003-2004 (December-February)
Completion of Wave 2 tasks.
Enable prototype ITCs (LNOCA, MEC (including Columbus Public Schools), NOACSC, SCOCA, and SPARCC) to perform own library migrations.

3rd wave - Spring/Summer 2004 (March-August)
Next six ITCs added (H/CCA, LEECA, MDECA, OME-RESA, TCCSA, WOCO).
New ITCs trained on processes and complete initial migration for 1-3 banks.
All trained ITCs continue migrating districts according to their ITC Transition plan.

4th wave - Fall/Winter 2004-2005 (September-February)
Next six ITCs added (LACA, LGCA, MVECA, NCOCC, NOECA, SEOVEC).
New ITCs trained on processes and complete initial migration for 1-3 banks.
All trained ITCs continue migrating districts according to their ITC Transition plan.

5th wave - Spring/Summer 2005 (March-August)
Next six ITCs added (ACCESS, NEOMIN, NEOnet, NWOCA, SWOCA, TRECA).
New ITCs trained on processes and complete initial migration for 1-3 banks.
All trained ITCs continue migrating districts according to their ITC Transition plan.

6th wave - Fall 2005-Winter 2007
ITCs continue until all MultiLIS buildings are migrated to SirsiDynix.
ITCs migrate non-MultiLIS buildings to SirsiDynix.

July 2006
Install Version GL3.1 at all SirsiDynix buildings.

7th wave - Winter 2007
Convert Curriculum Resource Catalog to Sirsi K-12.
MultiLIS is obsolete across Ohio.
Develop optional SirsiDynix modules for Acquisitions, Serials and Media Booking.
Implement SchoolRooms for INFOhio automated buildings.
