INFOhio is one of
five recipients of the SirsiDynix Building
Better Communities Awards for 2006. INFOhio Executive Director Theresa M. Fredericka accepted the award during a
special ceremony held at the American Library Association Annual Conference in New Orleans
on June 24, 2006. The award includes a $10,000 stipend. Return to

The five Building
Better Communities Awards recipients were honored during a special ceremony at ALA's
Annual Conference in New Orleans. Pictured (from left) are representatives from those
libraries: Gerry Meek, director of Calgary Public Library; Mary Boutar, chair of the board
for Hancock County Library System; Theresa Fredericka, executive director of INFOhio; and
Ken Roberts, chief librarian of Hamilton Public Library. Karen Rege, director of library
services for Delaware County Community College Library, was unable to attend the ceremony.
