Acceptance Remarks

As this year's recipient of the Hugh Durbin Leadership Award, I wish to thank INFOhio for encouraging new leader participation in INFOhio's annual planning conference. Attending this year's conference has given me the opportunity to see leadership at its best by "rubbing elbows" with INFOhio "movers and shakers" who superbly model visionary qualities of risk-taking, perseverance, and hard work in achieving goals.

Association with INFOhio leaders has further challenged me to become an even stronger advocate for INFOhio, THE information network for Ohio schools, and, in particular, my own school community. Serving on the Electronic Resources Task Force over the next two years will afford me many opportunities for learning and for input. Thanks, INFOhio, for the inspiration!
