Icons used in CAT and
CAT Jr. (MultiLIS)
MultiLIS uses the material type code in the Leader,
which is governed by strict international cataloging rules, to determine the icon that
displays in the MultiLIS OPAC, CAT and CAT Jr. The material type code is located in the
sixth position; begin counting with zero. See the table below for icons associated with
these codes.Sirsi K-12 uses the material type in the item
record, which is governed by local cataloging rules, to determine the icon that displays
