A Research-based Series

Module One, Information Literacy: Why, What, Where, How and Who, is now available across the state

Summer Summit: It Is Not Just What, but How Students Learn: the Role of Information Literacy in Today's Classroom

Hamilton County Educational Service Center (HCESC) and  INFOhio have partnered to develop a series designed to build capacity for teaching skills that are critical to students developing a deeper understanding of academic content standards and abilities to locate, retrieve and manipulate information for knowledge construction and communications.

Linda works with districts to promote and develop a standards-based curriculum aligned with technology, information literacy and student inquiry for increased knowledge construction. She is experienced as a certified school library media specialist for grades K-12 and as a facilitator of inquiry, problem-based learning.

Tom works with districts to develop, align and assess standards-based curriculum, His is experienced as a classroom teacher, district curriculum leader and facilitator of district information literacy programs. Tom also works with districts to articulate vision and goals and to develop comprehensive strategies plans that improve student achievement.
