Students and researchers now have greater access to primary source
materials for historical research than ever before. Primary sources are
original records created at the time historical events occurred or well
after events in the form of memoirs and oral histories. While traditional
sources in print format are still first place to look, students now have
access to primary sources materials in digital format.
Join us as we explore how the INFOhio resources can be used to help students
locate and analyze primary sources. Resources covered include Annals of
American History, The ART Collection and EBSCOhost. Other
resources to be discussed include American Memory, Ohio Memory and
NARA (National Archives).
We will be sharing sample lessons and ideas on how these resources help meet
academic content standards in many subject areas.
