Ohio's general election, Tuesday, November 7, 2006, will elect a new Governor for our state. Bob Taft, Ohio's current chief executive, is completing his eighth year in office and is not permitted by Ohio's Constitution to run for a third consecutive term.

Find articles from your area of the state, or compare opinions from various regions. In addition to the large city papers, you’ll also find coverage from several smaller cities across Ohio. Local Ohio newspaper articles can  be searched from NewsBank’s main page.

Proceed to EBSCOhost.EBSCOhost – Both Student Research Center for Grades 6-8 and ...9-12 can be used for articles on Ohio's 2006 election, especially from newspapers. Most recent articles still appear first, so current information is easy to locate. Search Tip: Search by the candidates' names.
