December is Stress Free Family Month. The holidays and the change to
winter weather can often create stressful situations for all family members. Students will
benefit from learning more about the different kinds of stress and how they can help
manage stress in themselves and, hopefully, their family members.

Assign each student a different subject from this list. Each student should find two

Oral presentations provide students with valuable experiences in developing
standards-based essential skills and overall confidence in presenting their ideas to
others. Oral reports can also help other students to learn more about the overall topic.
