Product Update for Oxford Reference Online: The Core Collection

Oxford Reference Online is updated at least three times a year with new titles, new editions and additional features. In addition, all content in the Collection is reviewed and updated regularly.

NEW TITLES
Five new exciting titles have recently been added to Oxford Reference OnlineThe Oxford Companion to the Photograph, The Oxford Companion to World Mythology, The Oxford Dictionary of World Place Names, The Oxford Dictionary of Space Exploration and Science, Technology, and Society. Also,  new editions of The Oxford Dictionary of Philosophy and The Oxford Dictionary of Accounting are part of INFOhio's subscription.

In response to user requests, the Quick Search that appears on every ORO page now supports standard Boolean operators and, or and not. For more information on using Booleans operators on ORO, see the Help pages on Using the Search tools.

CONTENT UPDATES
Recent new titles in the ORO include The Oxford Companion to the Mind, The Oxford Companion to Medicine, The Oxford Companion to Canadian Literature and The Oxford Companion to New Zealand Literature, plus new editions of the Oxford Dictionary of English and The Oxford Companion to Philosophy.

More than 6,000 superb color illustrations from the Visual English Dictionary are available, all with fully searchable captions.

Linking of entries to key events in 20th-century Timelines across the themes of Art and Architecture, Literature, Performing Arts, Politics and Government, Science, Technology and Medicine, Society, and War. sample timelines
