Searching Britannica Online School Edition leads you to a wealth of information. But how can you narrow it down to just what you need? Using Encyclopaedia Britannica's Advanced Search feature allows you to easily construct complex queries. Click the Advanced Search link next to the Search box, enter words in one or more of the different fields, and click the GO button.

Note that a link to Search Tips has also been added to the Search box. Both features are available only for searching in Encyclopaedia Britannica, not in Comption's by Britannica or Britannica Elementary.
