Upgrade to AccessScience user interface to go into effect Monday, December 15th, 2003

Starting Monday, December 15th, users of AccessScience will find a new, enhanced interface to the Online Encyclopedia. The product of extensive user interviews and testing, and many months of development, this upgrade is intended to make the use of AccessScience easier and more intuitive, with simplified navigation and faster access to content. We've also added new features that users and librarians requested, such as the ability to e-mail links to articles to yourself or colleagues and enhanced article citation information. You will not need to change any links or log-in procedures to access the site; we are handling this automatically.

Please note that the new interface is optimized for current standards-compliant browsers, such as Internet Explorer 6 or Netscape 7; users of old browsers may find some pages that deviate from the optimized design. However, we have developed the site to retain functionality with these browsers as much as reasonably possible, and we will work with subscribers that have not yet upgraded their browsers to resolve any problems they might experience.
