Memo to Prospective Vendors for Preview
2005

RE: INFOhio Electronic Resources Vendor Preview 2005
Thank you for your interest in participating in the INFOhio Electronic Resources Vendor
Preview 2005, our program to coordinate discounted prices on selected resources that
support the curriculum of Ohio's K-12 schools. The Preview consists of a Web-based preview
of vendor products from January 15 through March 15, 2005. Another component is an online,
password-protected, Price List containing vendor pricing and
ordering information that is available to all Ohio K-12 schools by early January 2005.
There is no printed price list for Preview 2005.
Participation in Preview 2005 requires vendors to offer discounted pricing and a free
two-month online product preview for Ohio schools from January 15 to March 15. There is no
fee to add your products to Preview 2005. However, there are certain criteria that must be
met in order to be considered for participation. The Electronic Resources Task Force will
make the final determination on the inclusion of specific resources in the Preview.
Here are the steps required of all prospective participants:
1. Go to the Vendor Support for Preview
2005 page.
2. Review the Selection Criteria to determine if your products meet the
requirements for participation in Preview 2005. [MS Word OR PDF 1 pg]
3. Review the Timelines for Preview 2005 Price List and Web Page to determine
if you will be able to complete the necessary steps by the proposed deadlines. [MS Word OR PDF 1 pg] To participate in Preview 2005, all
information for the online Price List 2005 AND the Web Page
Online Preview 2005 must be received no later than November 19, 2004.
4. If you feel you meet the selection criteria and can adhere to the timelines, complete
the online Prospective Vendor Submission Form
and submit for consideration on or before Monday, November 1,
2004.
5. On this same page you will find a link to last year's Preview 2004, which will serve as a sample of
the framework and scope of previous Previews. If you would like the password to view the
